Central Coast Custom, Inc., is very professional and knowledgeable! I went to Dwight's in Nipomo to find out why my Honda Civic '95 kept over heating; apparently, they thought it was just my cap. It fixed the problem for a week at most, and I was recommended to go to Central Coast Custom, Inc., by a close friend. My head gasket needed to be replaced, and since then I’ve had no problems with my car. I recommend this place for anyone.

I believe we are more thorough than most, but maybe the blown head gasket wasn't a problem when Dwight’s looked at it. I like Dwight! Note to customers - take care of your cooling system. Overheating is the #1 cause of engine failure. Gary C


My wife and I have a Suzuki Grand Vitara that had a major noise coming from the engine. Dealer diagnosed it as a bad engine for $8,500. Another shop specializing in Japanese cars said it needed all timing chains and gears for $3,500. Central Coast Custom, Inc., looked at it and found a report from Suzuki that they had a problem with just one part of the timing chain area and fixed the problem for $1,500; including water pump and oil change.

Very impressed wouldn’t go anywhere else.

C.C.C. has all factory information available at our finger tips through numerous computer programs. That is the reason why we figured this problem out even when the dealer couldn't! I first went to CCC for a smog inspection, liked the way I was treated, so returned when I needed other work done. They have become my regular mechanics. Good work, good pricing! They are kind and considerate to this old lady (84) and don't try to take advantage of that fact! Can't find any fault with them except I'd like to see Gary smile more (But not when he's telling me the bill is hundreds of dollars!).

I called around the area for a clutch replacement on my 2000 Corvette. After speaking with several shops (many would not perform this repair on this vehicle), I went down and spoke in person to the two shops I felt were most knowledgeable and professional (and that had reasonable prices). I chose Central Coast Custom, Inc. I made an appointment and brought my Vette in. 1 1/2 days later, I picked my car up and have not had any problems. They stuck to their price and time of completion, and I was very surprised that they used factory AC Delco parts! I was also surprised they gave a 12 month, 12,000 mile nationwide written warranty! I highly recommend them.

After looking for some time for a mechanic that I felt comfortable with, I found Central Coast Custom, Inc. I originally brought my car in for an oil change and was really impressed with their ability to see me without making an appointment several days out and to have my car ready in less than an hour. I have since brought my other vehicles to them and have always been impressed by their work and customer service. When they were having trouble getting in a part for my SUV, they kept me updated as to the status of the part order, and when the part arrived. The work was done quickly and correctly.
